Pinetree Community School has created an iMovie of the teachers sharing what they are most proud of about their students. The iMovie clips will be shown on Pinetree Television Network (PTN) a daily broadcast created by students and viewed by the school on televisions in their classrooms. Another creative use of technology to support student achievement!

The Sulphur Springs School District Teacher’s Association (SSDTA) has held a student writing contest for 30 years recognizing one outstanding writer from each grade level 2nd through 6th grade from across the district. SSDTA Leadership presents a trophy and a $100 savings bond to each of the year’s recipients at a Board of Trustee meeting with proud parents, family members, and teachers looking on.
